Valley Quilt Shop in Lyman WY

Where you ask???  This is where I went yesterday for a trunk show.  What an amazing shop!!!!  You have to go and visit!!!!  I'm not kidding take a day trip and go shopping.  The shop is off of I-80.  You take the Fort Bridger Exit #34 and that takes you through Fort Bridger.  When you come to a 4 way stop with a flashing light turn right.  Go about 1/4 mile and on the left hand side is a strip mall and there you have this cute shop hidden in WY.

Here are the gals that run the shop.  They are just awesome.  I walked in and it was like, WOW!!!  What a fabulous job they do with all the quilts and decor

Along one wall they have a great display of Christmas and Halloween quilts, pillow, table toppers, stitchy pillows, books and patterns and everything else you can think of for a quilter.

Tons of quilts are hung through out the store with all sorts of different projects to catch your eye.

Look at the displays they do --- just so stinkin' cute!!!

There is something for every quilter there.  I found fabrics that I found no where else, I saw patterns I have never seen, I even bought a couple.(smile)  They have a huge classroom too.  Just pretend I took a picture OK?  Their website is almost running.  Sign up to receive email updates and class schedules.  The number to call is 307-786-2653.  Seriously, if you can make the trip, you have to go.  Don't miss out on this great shop hidden in Wyoming.  It will be worth your time.

New Block of the Month quilts

Hey there!  I'm working on a new series of quilts that will be  "Block of the Month" quilts.  How many of you like BOM?    Do you like that ones that take 12 months or ones that are 6-8 months?  I'm excited about designing something like this and want your opinion.  I did a ton of sketching yesterday coming up with ideas.   There are four patterns Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter themed BOM.   Give me some of your ideas, I loved to hear what quilters want!!!

By the way, the new Skinnies are ready to be quilted.  Wait til you see them!
Only 50 days to Spring Market!!! YIKES.

Finally here

I think Spring has finally come.  It's so nice out, with temperatures around 60'.  Kids are running around in shorts and tshirts using up their pent up energy from all winter.  I'm lovin' it.  I can't wait to sit in my lawn recliner and soak up the sun....of course I'll have to wait until after Spring Market is over and then I will collapse and not move for a few days.  I'll ask someone to come turn me over now and again while they bring me a tall glass of lemonade.  Sounds good right?

Hey, you have to see the cutest rainbow quilt.  Hop on over to Crazy Old Ladies blog and see what she made.  I love it!!  Back to work... Happy sewing!

I'm a Sewing Zombie

Yep, that's what I feel like anyway.
Here's what I've been doing... this is a sneak peek of fabrics I'm using on the my
new Skinnies line
There all here and I've been sewing like crazy!  They will debut at Spring Market in Kansas City.  But, I might give you a peek of a few closer to that time.  So when you don't hear from me everyday, you know I'm just getting ready for May.  I can't wait to show you everything!  I'm soooo excited to be sewing and designing all the great fabrics.
Until then, just keep sewing and have fun
