Jubilee, love the sound of that

This has to be one of my favorite quilts. The size is 52" square, so I can use as a table topper or a wall hanging. The colors are more muted than I usually do, but I love it just the same. The flowers are fused and then blanket stitched on. The border is my favorite part and adds tons to the quilt. Sometimes I amaze myself.

Breezy is here!!!

It's done! Breezy is here and ready to go. I love, love, love this quilt!!!!!! I have always loved pinwheels and circle and I get both in one quilt. The quilt is layer cake and yardage friendly too. Finished in 50" x 62" , it can be used as a lap quilt or great for a new baby in the family. I'm hanging it on my wall to add a jazzy bit of color for the upcoming seasons. Tell me what ya'll think. Now to start on the next one......until then have a fabulous weekend and remember, life is a gift.

Gone to Pieces..

Since I saw this fabric I had to do this quilt. I had the drawing in mind and I was waiting for the perfect fabric. Well, here it is, "Gone to Pieces". I tell you I couldn't sew fast enough to get it done. I love this quilt!!!! It's a great quilt for charm packs and layer cakes. I can't wait to make it again in some fun bright fabrics, or use my collection of Christmas fabrics. In fact I believe anything fabric you love would work. How fun would it be to make it all scrappy. Sassafras, don't ya'll just love it!!!

This quilt has been in my head for almost a year, can ya believe it! I finally found the fabrics I wanted to use and here is the finished product. Not to mention the quilting by Brandie, my amazing quilter. She echoed all the flowers so they really stand out. It's just gorgeous in person. To see it go to the Provo Cotton Shop and you will, it's there until the 28th of June. I loved making this one so much that I had to make another. I searched through my stash, and found an older Kansas Trouble line and did up a twin size Sassafras. It was fun to see the difference the fabrics make. Let me know what ya'll think!

Lost Marbles

Have you lost your marbles??? If you have, I found a whole bunch so I'll share. I considered about a bunch of different color ways for this, but the brights were the best choice I thought. Collecting the right fabrics took all over the place, I even found some of the fabrics in Flagstaff Arizona at a nice little quilt shop there.
