International Quilt Market Spring 2012

Hi!!! I'm back from market, dead tired and happy. We had a GREAT time.
Here are the photos, so sit back and enjoy

Look who I ran into THE  Eleanor Burns - It was awesome!! Super sweet lady with tons of energy
I met her while waiting in line at Sample Spree.

Speaking of Sample Spree....this is what the line looked like.  See the end where the tiny white and black verticals lines are?  Well that's the start of the line to get into Sample Spree.

Now look as far as you can see...that is the end of the line.  So we were about in the middle.  Met some fun gals to chat with, so waiting went quick.   We only waited in line for a little over an hour

Look who else I got to meet.....  Nancy Halverson of Art to Heart.  I have always loved her designs and fabric, so meeting her was a thrill.

OK here's my booth.

Showing all the new Skinnies (four new patterns) My new Block of the Month patterns, three of those and 3 other everyday quilts.

Here's me and Brandy the start of the first day.  I couldn't have done Quilt Market without her.

If you ever go to Kansas City, MO and are in the downtown area, you have to stop in at the
Cosentino's Market.  What a gold mine of a find.
Fresh fruit and veggies
Great salad bars, breakfast bar, and don't forget the bakery.  I think I was drooling
Very nice market in the middle of downtown and a nice walking distance from our hotel.  So we got a good walk every morning going down to get breakfast and treats for the day.

The Power and Light District, great place to find all sorts of nice restaurant too.

Back for a few booths
Here's Brandy visiting Sharon at the Crazy Old Ladies " Geared for Guys" both.  Great quilts!
Brandy with Machelle with "Moose on the Porch"

And here's Brandy with Emily of Crazy Old Ladies, showing her newest fabric line
"Shore Thing" by Micheal Miller.

One of the biggest highlights for me this market, was meeting  these two AWESOME ladies!!!
Barbara and Mary of "Me and My Sister"

They are the sweetest gals. I was completely star-struck!!!  I  LOVE all their fabric lines, so one of my new patterns "Confetti",which you see on the bed in front, was out of the fabric line "Twirl".  It was sooooo cool to meet them in person and have them sign the back of my quilt.

All in all a great market, meeting so many new people, running into customers and making lots of new friends.  I love the quilting world!!!
