The paws have it

Quiltmakers Scrap Squad is busy again with Jennifer Stevens making a cute version of "Old Glory".  The Scrap Squad is a group of talented quilters who except a challenge to take one quilt from each Quiltmaker magazine and make their own scrappy version of it.  Here's Jennifer's.

Don't you just love the paw prints, very cute and creative.  To buy the magazine click here.  Make your own scrappy version of this quilt and send me the photo.
I will be happy to post it here on my blog.

Find out by flying over to Quiltmakers blog  to see the latest version of Old Glory.
Bonnie has done a great job in creating a whole new look.  Boy, I tell you I'm going to get busy and create my own new version of Old Glory and see what I come up with.  I think I will do a Halloween version since I like Halloween so much.  Happy Sewing.

Leaves are falling all around

Yes, leaves!  Quiltmaker Scrap Squad is at it again with another great version of "Old Glory".
This time they have used rich fall colors to make me wish for cooler weather.
Cathy Buel, appliques leaves instead of stars and then adds a pumpkin too.
Love the idea.  Hop on over to see the finished quilt.

Scrap Squad strikes again..

The Scrap Squad is a team of talented quilters who are given a challenge.  They are given one pattern from a regular issue of Quiltmaker and  create their own scrappy version for us to see.  They have chosen my quilt "Old Glory" July/Aug issue to use.  Pretty cool huh?!
You have to see the newest scrappy version of "Old Glory" on the Quiltmakers blog.  Jackie did a fabulous job on this quilt.  Love her idea and applique.  Check it out.
If you missed the first version, see it here

Don't forget to comment on the "Steam-A-Seam" give away.  Go to post from June 27.
You won't want to miss this one.

QM Scrap Squad

Here's something so very cool you need to see.
Quiltmaker magazine
has this amazing group of people that are called the Scrap Squad.  They take a quilt from each issue of Quiltmaker magazine and make their own scrappy version of it.
They have chosen my quilt "Old Glory" of the July/Aug issue to do.  There will be about 7 different versions of the quilt for you to see.  Here is the link for the first one.
I believe that they will do this once a week.  I'll keep ya'll posted.
Enjoy the great ideas that they will show you.
