  69. My favorite Thanksgiving food is Sweet Potato Casserole from Susan Branch's Thanksgiving cookbook. I know it will never replace your mom's recipe--what could?--but it is extremely good. When I became a vegetarian and stopped eating marshmallows, we had to find a new sweet potato recipe, and this one is so delicious I don't even miss our old standby. This is everyone's new favorite.
