Magic Bars

Warning:
These are very dangerous cookies!
You won't stop at one.
Don't say I didn't warn you.
A must have for the holidays!!
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup melted butter
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup butterscotch chips
1 cup shredded coconut
1/2 cup chopped nuts - optional
1 can sweetened condensed milk
Mix crumbs and butter together and press in to bottom of a 13x9 pan.
Sprinkle chips and nuts evenly over crumbs.
Pour condensed milk evenly over chips and nuts.
Bake at 375' for 20-25 mins or until light golden brown.
Enjoy!!
I make these every year and they don't last long.  You can double the recipe and use a cookie sheet that's at least an inch deep.
Happy Holidays to all!

  1. I'm SO SO glad you posted the recipe!!! I have been thinking about these and I lost my recipe. I haven't made it for several years. I first encountered them while living in Canada and we called it "Magic Cookie Bar". Merry Christmas. I love your site and your style of quilting!
