Are you afraid of Fusible Webbing???

Do you pass up patterns that have fusible webbing?? Do you want to try it but don't know where to start? Or no one knows how to do it? Well, if you answer yes to any of these questions, I have the solution for you right here. Go to Crazy Old Ladies blog and see the fabulous tutorial she did on fusible webbing. You go and see it and you will be a fusible web queen. After you try it you won't want to stop, and you can make all those awesome quilts you see with fusible applique. Remember it's still a new year, try something new that you will most defiantly enjoy and be glad you did. Start with something easy, like one of the Skinnies patterns, or do a block from Fright Night or Rough and Tumble or Happily Ever After. Start small, no one says you have to make a huge quilt to begin with. I'll tell you what, the first person that comments on this blog that says you want to start using Fusible Webbing, I will send you a yard of Steam-A-Seam, that's my favorite kind. Deal?

Chenille flowers, gotta love it!

Well, here it is, Sassafras with chenille flowers. I love making this quilt! It's so easy and fast, you can have the top pieced in an afternoon. What do ya'll think? This quilt is hanging in Gracie Lou's quilt shop in Salem, UT. Did I mention I love the color pink? The quilting is to die for! Again Brandy, my quilter did an amazing job for me as always. The Oh Baby Skinnies are coming up next, so keep posted. Until next time, smile life is good.

Breezy is here!!!

It's done! Breezy is here and ready to go. I love, love, love this quilt!!!!!! I have always loved pinwheels and circle and I get both in one quilt. The quilt is layer cake and yardage friendly too. Finished in 50" x 62" , it can be used as a lap quilt or great for a new baby in the family. I'm hanging it on my wall to add a jazzy bit of color for the upcoming seasons. Tell me what ya'll think. Now to start on the next one......until then have a fabulous weekend and remember, life is a gift.

Holy Cow...

Time sure flies! I can't believe it's been over a week since I've posted. The month is slipping by quickly. Already this month, my husband had a birthday (he forgot his age), my daughter had knee surgery (she is doing awesome), my son passed his Eagle Scout board of review (the first Eagle Scout of 2011) , I've made one quilt that is at the quilters (which I will post as soon as I get it back), another one will be done on Monday, have two more in the works, plus three on the drawing board. To top all that, I've been to my Aerobics class 7 times already! I do Step Aerobics, Zumba, Turbo and Ripped believe it or not I can still walk. HaHaHa. Talk about starting the year with a bang! Boy, I think I'm tired. Until next time, which will be sooner than later. Just keep sewing, life is wonderful.
