ReplyDeleteI'm generally a fan of brights, but lately, I've become awfully fond of oranges and yellows.
ReplyDeleteI've been making a lot of red quilts lately...red and black...red and blue...red and cheddar. Everything seems to go with red.
ReplyDeleteIt really depends on what I'm working on, I love blues but I'm all over the color wheel doing special stuff for kids and gifts for friends & family. Congratulations on another win, your block is very cheerful and will be fun to create. deborahmay816@comcast.net
ReplyDeleteI love playing with color, so I like new combinations that really bring out the personalities of the fabric I'm working with. I tend to like darks and lights more than brights. sarah@forrussia.org
ReplyDeleteRed and white is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteFun block! I really like blue and green together. Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite combinations use muted colors, more than brights. For instance, golds more than yellows or eggplant tones more than royal purples. I think colors like that are warmer and more inviting to the eye. Which is why I love your block so much, it really lends itself to endless possibilities in color combinations! Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteI find myself drawn to red, black and white for the most part - although I do use any and all colors in my quilts!
ReplyDeleteI'm all over the place with color, Weird as it sounds, I love ocean blues, golds and greens, then there are the Purples, reds and oranges that send me rushing to the design wall. I just can't choose one. and your block will look great in every color. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI really don't have a favorite color combo. It all depends on the quilt & what moves me!! My favorite color is blues - all shades of blue! But not everyone else likes that so I let the pattern move me :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win
